in sacred places
the soft wine and the
Blood lust and madness
We see in each other's eyes
••
the quiet hours
The memories of lovers unfold
Until we see what love was there
//
And the children
Born or unborn
And what we left here for them
ENDLESS WAR
//
The rain upon the deserted road
The empty streets where we used to stroll
In the constancy of the universal dreams we shared
::
Oh yes
These are gone
/:/
All that is left are the scars
And the un - loved
In the endless agony
Of being unable to trust
Anyone
Anymore
••
Tell me your secret
What you do to survive
Tell me your secret
And I'll tell you mine
And perhaps we shall love again
And perhaps the world won't die
And perhaps we shall survive
In a world of untold fortune
And total possibility
•••
We are here
Let us not go on
Til we return
Unto the Seed we were born from
To where all may be erased
To where all may be replaced
And we not notice it at all
