Nov 2014
Feel the crisp breeze run through your hair
Let it down and billow through the air
The crescent moon hit your skin so fair
Open your eyes if you dare.

See the iridescent moon
Lighting feathers of the loon
And as it gives its' final croon
Does it have to end so soon?

Feel the icy, midnight sea
Carry you off so peacefully
So bright and captivating can it be
Floods every inch of me.

Alive, yet drowning in the waves
Waiting for the one who's brave
Falling victims turn to slaves
Buried in their watery graves.

Finally! Crawling to the shore
Above the dreary ocean floor
A brand new place to explore
With opportunities, so much more.

Wiping off green sea foam
Heading off with new places to roam
Not afraid of the great unknown
No longer entrapped in the mind of one's own.
