I see those pieces of you.
They fit me just fine.
So lets walk together.
Lets pop this bottle of wine.
But you're so you that you
put me straight to shame.

You are so young and so free
that I'm afraid I might not let you be.
You bring that feeling that I don't want to leave.
I get too excited when you say you want to be with me.

I just want what I want
and that's a selfish thing.
I know you've got yours
and that's why I'm singing.
Not because this is how it is
but because of what this could be.
