The monsters that once ruled my head,
Have come creeping out, ready to play.
Gnawing through the dark forest that lingers under my bed,
Waiting to **** the joy of a new day.
Fiercely capturing the hope of tomorrow.
Threatening the light to my existence.
Drowning my mind with such painful sorrow.
So determined to destroy my persistence.
Holding me captive on an endless voyage.
Recreating the dark to shape the shadows of my pain.
Staining my emotion with such inhumane rage.
Stealing the thrown that keeps me sane.
They have come to raid my skin,
But I will never let them break in.
