Is there anyone out there who knew me,
did you know me?
If so,
throw me a lifeline,
once in a lifetime.

'I think they're all dead', he said to no one in particular,
peculiar but understandable.
No one to call culpable or capable and I escaped.
Inevitable,
there has to be at least one,
who will carry on and tell the tale.
