Where fell all nations in defeat
a stem just started to grow
it was a peace tree, a life giver
yet it died in the last chapter
and as the fires raged
splinters were thrown into the winds
it broke the silence with the screams
of poor childrens futures in the last chapter

You can't see the machines, can you
can't see the last of the world die
No no that would be too sweet for you
to sleep to dream to wonder
hush Eves children
for I know the last chapter
my kind wrote it
for friends liken to you
