Have you ever wondered
how many books have been lost forever
all the cities sacked
all the libraries burnt

Those books thought lost forever
those books not lost, just hidden away
would you like to know where
where the books lost forever lay

Well they lay in the ashes of time
in the whispers of kind winds
by the shimmering of leaves summer green
on the pond of forgotten thoughts

There you can stand reading
reading the ash on the lillies
but be fast and most ardent
or you're never cram everything in
