I have to tend to the flame
I have to provide the warmth to keep myself alive
I have to keep the fire going
I do not want to freeze
I love keeping warm in winter
This much is true
In my previous lives I always paid the electric company
So I tried not to over use, cost cutting took skill
But with this fire I tend
I can open my door can let out some heat without guilt
I let in the fresh air
and forgo the quilts!
I keep my fire going
It is a responsibility
But with it comes freedoms that I enjoy
So I keep my fire going
I watch it burn
I chop my own **** wood
These muscles I EARN
So I keep my fire going
Inside and out. ; )
I enjoy every bit of it without a doubt!
