from the basement of the mansion /// #1

/\
( american woman )
••
In the wholeness of the Mansion
The children !
They huddle together
In the broom closet in the basement
•
A he / thing & a she / thing
Sat staring at one other
He pointed to the lump of hair between her legs
WHAT'S THAT ?
////
I DON'T KNOW
THERE'S SOME KIND OF HOLE UNDERNEATH IT
IT BLEEDS A LOT SOME TIMES
////
CAN I TOUCH IT
////
I GUESS SO
••
He stuck a finger into the hole and wiggled it
around for a while
Some stuff Came out of the hole
YUCK !
& he ran to find some thing to wipe his hand off on
///
She leaned against the wall and fell over against the mop
And cut her head
She rested her face in the puddle of blood that was forming
She thought
I FEEL FUNNY !
NOT BAD
I FEEL NOT BAD !
she lay there on the cold concrete floor
and closed her eyes
NOT BAD !
WELL
NOT TOO BAD !
WELL
NOT AS BAD !
I THINK I' LL CALL IT LOVE
she thought
•
As she turned and started drinking the blood
