From hugs so comforting and warm
To hugs cold and numbing

From scents so pleasant and sweet
To scents reeking and deadly

From voices soothing and majestic
To voices loud and deafening

From faces that reminded me to smile
To faces that taught me how to cry

For a moment i can’t help but hold you
Now all i want to do is let go
