what did it mean to you
who lived inside of me
knew the contours of my heart

sweeping away reason

letting the tears fall
our hearts, or, my heart aching
as life carried you away

This perception I called love
could it truly be called so
when time takes it all away
and only memories are left
as sweet nothings
