(This is just a piece of whimsy)

There’s a rabbit in the headlights
and I see him every day
he’s in the shaving mirror
and I cannot look away.

That I could find the courage
and turn my eyes away
I’d probably shave just half a face
and feel a fool all day.

To me this is just whimsy
to others it’s quite real
I’m not a frightened fellow
and the rabbit’s in the field.
