Believed he held some sort of holy grace.
Fought to form a different way.
Risked it all then lost his bet.
Never tried to save some face.

Preached his own progressive agenda.
They attacked him with a personal vendetta.
His story is one we try to forget.
The deeper he's buried-
the better.

Thought he could have been the one.
Took his turn at playing modern messiah.
Burned him at the stake, they did.
The price that's paid of a pariah.
