Oct 2014
Twilight darkened the room;
the lamp, full of life, fell flat
on the shivering lips of our granny,
who waited to have the last glimpse
of this beautiful landscape.
"creep in," she whispered, " I bequeath
my treasury that contains
more sparkling and valuable jewels
than the twinkling diamonds in a royal palace.
this, the halo of my life, had been on my head,
and this is studded with four pearls:
kindness, sympathy, soft words,
and fabled behaviour;
sensibility is its key
and contentment will unlock it."
