A poor lonely homeless man dazing down the street
He had no shoes to wear on his feet
His walks were through the months of poverty mounting to defeat
Some public mockery in passing in having no respect treat
A man who was once a working society
The economy reversed placing him in his current reality
No fault of the poor lonely soul
But there is sunrise with look and behold
A Good Samaritan had shows that never had been worn
A kind heart knew where those shoes belonged
It wasn’t long before the homeless man put the shoes on
Walking around in his bare feet seemed ever so long
But the lonely homeless man was appreciative and moved on.
