Your Absence
▪▪
The warmth from your body
is no longer here.
It cooled so quickly
after you left
The flavour of you
on my lips
I can no longer taste
since you've been gone
Your scent lingers
but only in a memory,
so distant
now you're not here
Your voice,
I only hear in a far off place,
in tormented dreams
why did you leave me, wanting?
