The man, Donald Coffin who educated me in the legacy of buses
My story being wheels and the open road
An inspired man who enlightened me in bus tails like no story ever told
Mr. Coffin’s idea of buses was listen and behold
Dad as I often called him
I listened carefully as Dad told me the theory of what makes a bus
It was the conversation in email of two being us
It was Dad’s knowledge from wisdom
My mentor with years of experience within this kingdom
The many stories of the road hound
The running dog who has travelled around
But Dad Coffin knew the in and outs of a bus
But then again, buses were his passion and that was a must
Yet, it was his encouragement to all to be involved and that describes us
Today Dad is not feeling well
To hear this it makes my heart swell
I have two busses that I bought from Mr. Coffin’s collection
This is my pride with buses on display for viewer’s education
Dad get well really soon
You taught me a lot and I have a memory tune
“Donald Coffin a man with knowledge of buses beyond, but being a mentor in making busses fun”.
