Do I Know You Anymore
All the years
all my ****** lives
all I did for you
all the banners displayed proud
Most went NOVA for you
all those scientist died for you
and as the last flag fell in defeat
I would not let our union go
Yet do I know you anymore
do I understand your surrender
should I be proud
of your falling sad demise
It shocks me
that you give up so easily
our battle , our war
and yet you deem mercy
In the old days
when we were made of stars
we were to elite and the core
but I don't know you anymore
I don't know you anymore
not now in the continuum of war
forgive this high rose
as I don't know you anymore
You make our efforts
you make them demeaning
and for your absolute
we sleep ******* dreaming
