It was a Wednesday afternoon
There was a position at Marsh & McClennan, Inc.
The interview was at 1166 Avenue of the Americas is where I went
It was the company’s Human Resources in being sent
The position was at the Former World Trade Center Tower One on the 96th Floor
However I didn’t get the job because I was overqualified
But my testimony I can testify
It was Heaven encouraging me in behold
Then I think on sits high in being the everlasting in praising bold
My life could have come to an end
But God smiled and simply stated, “Your life has only begun”
Destiny being a promise
The thoughts of my heart in being honest
No one truly knows what in life is ahead
The idea is prayer, and use it being concrete instead
A chapter of the final page could have been established
But in control was the whole divine being in obvious
I am lucky too be alive
But everyday it is Christ who helped me too survive.
