Poems
Jan 2011
the sweep of the bombers and the skies
staring in the mirror
moving the make-up this way and that
(moving our lovers
this way and that)
breaking the child's heart
-------
rain rain rain
dont symbolize a thing
(dontΒ Β mean nothin anymore)
--------
images of bodies decay
our make-up is smeared!
our lover is gone!
(dont mean nothin anymore)
--------
only the endless war
the sweep of the bombers in the sky
"how can we die, we're already dead"
fearlessly succumbing to fear
-------
staring in the mirror
moving the make-up this way and that
(moving our lovers
this way and that)
breaking the child's heart
-------
