the badger huntings back there out cull once more
yet another killing spree like the one before
killing natures creatures that once wandered free
all around the country for everyone to see.

now they have to suffer as they face the gun
shooting without guilt as they begin to run
we should try to save them protest with all our might
this lovely child of nature the hunter of the night.

it such a shame to see them die this way
we should do our best and let the badger stay.
