You're not like anyone I've ever met
You stay in your shell
But somehow you trick others
Into thinking they're seeing the real you
Not the mask you wear

Shells are made to protect
Yours doesn't

When you're left in the playground
All by yourself
It cuts deep

I have a bad feeling
You're shells going to shatter when im not around to pick up the pieces,
And to tell you how perfect you are

Although you say you're fine
I see though your mask, your shell
You're just a lost kid trying to find where she fits in
for a friend
