Sep 2014
Door ways locked ahead
Windows banged shut instead.
Footsteps echoed along
Voices of mockery sang a song
Shivered from head to toe
Awaited a dreaded foe

Stillness replaced the moment
Emptiness overcome the fulfillment
A laugh of vengeance screeched
Until that limit was reached
Shivered from head to toe
Awaited a dreaded foe

Sat down, not willed to fight on
Knowing that they’ve already won
Last breathes taken away
Fore today was my last day
