i like to watch the badger when the moon is bright
roaming round the fields very late at night
looking for his food to fill his appetite
with his stripes so bright reflecting in the light.

such a lovely creature roaming wild and free
this creature of the night brings such joy to me
but now the hunt is on to take them all away
each and every badger hunters want to slay.

we must try to save them stop the badger war
let them live in peace like they did before
stop the senseless cull before it gets to late.
extinction for the badger will be it only fate.

it would be the same if they were not there
let us try to save them show them that we care
