The Moon
And the Sun
Two kindred beings
Or maybe not
No one will ever know
Darkness -
it was all there ever was.
The Moon would always want to escape
Though there is nothing
it could do
One day,
The Moon have heard about the Sun
How it glows,
How it shines,
It was all the Moon have always dreamed of
The Moon then desires
to see the Sun,
The Moon would always wait;
it would always hope
The Moon would always find its way
Every night
The Moon fancies
to capture the beauty
of the Sun,
Its light; Its warmth;
Its beauty
Yet, the Moon
and the Sun
could never be together
It wouldn't be normal -
It is forbidden
But the Moon constantly waits
even if there's no assurance,
even if it means breaking
the law of Science
Still it would find its
way
. . .
. . . even if it seems impossible
**. . . even if it takes forever
