The first snow
is the best.
You look out the window
on a dull school day and
suddenly
you let out a
shout of joy.
This battle cry
charges everyone
to press their faces on the
cold glass
and watch
the snow
come down.
And as you're driving home,
the snow flying past
at warp speed,
you're still mesmerized
by it.
