Tonight,
heavy and full, he drags
himself across a prickly sky, slowly
ascending, he surfaces
from tidal depths, slowly
descending,  he slips behind
majestic  cascades
bathed in his silver light,
extinguished
by his own absence and the breaking
of tomorrow.
