Regardless of the time
Things on my mind
Tag a swig
Make them dissapear
Another shot
Another joke

To Swallow the bitter choke

Why do I grit?
Heart flutters
Thinning blood

Had to quit

Of un remembered drunken endeavors

Being sober takes it's toll
