Her kiss was full of venom Her teeth were made out of broken pieces of glass Her tongue was a slithering snake that crawled down your throat and squeezed all the blood out of your heart and swallowed your soul whole She couldn't help but stab you in the back, her finger nails were all little daggers... she couldn't hold or touch anyone without cutting to the bone She was beautiful though, and even more beautiful to anyone who looked at her with heartache in their eyes And she could smell heartache, heartache and loneliness and all the foul smells of a broken soul. She was helplessly attracted to the scent, she couldn't control herself around the aroma of misery You could never tell by looking at her, but she was miserable too. She was as every bit as broken as she was beautiful She made a deal with the devil the first time her heart was broken, she just didn't want to feel the pain she told him So he shook her hand and numbed her wounds but he never took the pain away Her heart is still broken but she doesn't know Because she can't feel what the devil made numb
