Pick a number any number.
I thought that a man like me
was destined for immortality
but sadly
that'll never be.

Time,
we can cheat it
try to beat it but it
wins in the end.
We pick a number any number and
when our number's up
we slumber.
I
was caught up in the illusion
that between man and time's a fusion,
a meeting of the minds in space, but
now I have the time to face
the truth.
