Aug 2014
They lived an eternity,
carved names in the alders
& listened to raindrops
fill the oaken barrels.
The want of tobacco drove them
to the brink of insanity.
And now, we understand
the meaning of hardship,
'cause they stole his dog.
Patience.
Patience.
Patience.
They celebrated
the coming
of the full moon
on the bitter roots
& disappeared forever.
This I know.
I was with them.
Can't sleep.......!
