To the chapel I do go
in the cold rain, late at night
just to kneel to your grave and remember you
as the relentless wind does bite burning me

I will worship you with my beating heart
I will treasure you as I would my queen
how my heart burns with your gift
you are truly my release

I know this is my sweet suicide
but I do love you too much
so in the cold rain late at night
I carry your banner, standing fast and fight

I went beyond care
Good God, five years ago
and now I walk with you
as we are now both shadows
