This darkness consumes all.

With it's insatiable appetite,
it feeds.

It never rests or tires.
It is everywhere and
it is growing every moment.

In this unfathomable darkness,
there is nothing!

Not a star in the sky,
if there even is a sky.
Not a twinkle from an eye.

The air reeks of death,
but there are no sounds
to be heard.

I'm weightless,
suspended in this void
as if I were put here,
waiting to be used.
