I was going to write you a letter
For each day I missed you,
I realised I'd miss you for infinity,
And how cruel on nature
It would be to leave,
Not even one tree standing.
So, I planted a seed and
A symmetrical flower garden
Around a sculptured tree.
Her bodied form held souls
And sorrows,
And as long as my heart missed
You,
She promised to grow
And grow.
She promised me for infinity,
It's the only time span
I'll ever know, for you.
