You've been unloved, for awhile now.
And you don't know who to trust?
Words comes to you like a scam, now.
That you're afraid to take a chance on love.

Well, can I try?
Can I try to win your heart, now?
Can I prove that I'm that guy?

Sure it might take some time.
But patience is my middle name.
And like you, I have been played like a game.

Still, I'm asking you honestly.
Can I try  to win your love, now?
Can I put romance back into your life?

You hold the key to the lock.
You hold the decision too.
All I hold is the questions I'm asking you.

Can I try?
Can I try?
Can I try to be your guy?
