At night
When I'm outside in the hollow darkness
I see your face in every burning star
And dying ember
That sheds it's ghost into the air.
When it rains
I feel drenched in every drip
Of the pain you left me with.
I remember you in watercolor
Splashed across my walls
My sheets
I'm stained by you
And yet left with nothing.
During the day
The clouds break up the sky
Like you broke me
Into a million pieces of grief
I'm shattered and lonely
and in disbelief
But soon the skies will open up
And swallow me whole
And I'll split into a million galaxies
Where you will inhabit
None of them.
