When my gentle wings slowly rise, sunset will take the day
Then I will bring you a silver moon to take my place
Do not shed a single tear while I am away
I will be back when the sun again does grace

Our hours will be spent in meadows, kissing crystal springs
Weaving airy thoughts as they drift into our minds
My wings will rise when sunset night does bring
Leaving a silver moon for you to find

When I return we will sail on a ship of our heart’s desire
Wearing necklaces made of crystal dew
My wings will always rise when our day loses fire
But that silver moon, I will leave for you

Close your eyes and dream of me, when I fly away
Rest peacefully underneath my silver moon
Knowing that tomorrow I will return again to play
Sleep my little friend, I will be back soon
