Hollow, naked, brave and empty
endeavor to fill your soul
with ingredients to sate
of promises to fulfill.
Monoliths to the sinner
bearing teeth with xenophobic glee.
Hunters track through the thunder
as lightning reanimates the dead
Hungry lobbying vultures
"bring back the good long gone"
while removing your heart
and preserving it as art.
