Walked the city street
to much whiskey
never said a word
all this time

I had to be the one to speak
wanted to know if you were okay
wouldn't try to hurt you
so many words said
never meant any harm

Where are you
I should know
do you ever think of me
in the quiet
In the crowds

You knew I wouldn't stay
where I'm not wanted

To much whiskey
to pretend
I forgot you

Strange I still miss you
I was always a little strange
don't understand why
you couldn't say goodbye
