I would walk with you,
Through fire and brimstone,
Over molten rocks,
Across jagged mountain tops;

I would stand beside you,
Against infernal foes,
Arms outstretched,
To fend off their blows;

I would be there and there again,
If you asked it of me,
But you never will,
And so I never will,

*And so we'll never be.
