The crooked culture,
like a preying vulture,
picks at the flesh of the feeble,
the financially unable,
but not those particularly stable.

Peel back the skin,
can't help but cringe,
the gears grind and screech,
they **** life like a leech,
fail to practice what they preach.

**** this modern love,
it makes me sick.
Possession over obsession,
and if there is an obsession,
it's with the ring.

Doesn't that sting?

The world is a mess,
fracturing under the stress.
The weight of this culture,
this modern love,
and much more,
has us racing,
spacing,
and downright chasing,
our dreams.
