Beautiful things are never truly alive
They sit on a shelf waiting
Waiting for someone to choose them
They never choose themselves

The ones that choose are dead
Dead on the outside
But so full of life with in
The others just can't tell

Beautiful things are dead inside
They care for little
But show so much pride
They have so much to hide.
