Life , brings on realization that love deserve to be loved.
Every once in awhile truth comes out.
When the one that's hurt speaks these words.

Didn't I love you?
Didn't I protect you.
Work daily to provide you with security.

To say, I worked too much.
Might sound self serving to yourself.
But look at things from a different perspective.
And we're going without.
Then you'll be  complaining I didn't do enough.

So didn't I try?
Didn't I?
Didn't I go the distance for you?
And us .

Love has opportunities.
Love has restrictions too.
But ask yourself honestly?
There wasn't a thing I wouldn't do for you?
