They say it gets harder


I'm scared to consume there words
if they settle in my mind
banish everything positive
I'm afraid my skin will disintegrate
muscles will fail to hold my weight
and my eyes
the haze will vanish
And I will show

then they'll truly understand
I'm not even good for now
As you age you wish you were back to you younger years... but what if the early years are such a struggle
