May 2014
my tongue is tied in knots
it's you i think about
when i try to put myself to sleep
hand brushing the overflowing leaves of autumn
and heart racing like the wolves howling on a full moon
crawling inside my own skin
i thought i found my safe haven
until you swiftly brushed your lips on mine
making me fall
from what seemed like a mountain top
a skyscraper
into your arms
as down as it may be
i wouldn't mind the devil
watching us
close our eyes
as we melt into each other's skin
at last
