Words I cannot say

I think she is gorgeous
but I do not have the right
to even think of her
in this sort of light

she is from another world
a world beyond my reach
even if I could talk to her
I'd fumble every word of speech

she would think me melon headed
not give a second glance
and of course there would not be
a chance for some romance

far from perfect I know I am
so behind the curtain I'll stay
it matters not how I feel
there are words I cannot say
