sometimes the world is cruel and can be really bad
it can take your gladness and turn it into sad
take away your happiness and turn it dismay
and the world you use to know now so far away.

it only takes an instance for it to make a change
suddenly it turns around acting really strange
but if we keep our faith and strength to carry on
use the will we have till the cruelty has gone
