The water
Warm
Smelling of rubber

It relieves not my skin
Rather it makes
A film of sweat so thin
Holding my heat in

I envy those
Who can say heat
I do not know

I mean not
Those on a california shore
Or even those
In a middle eastern war

I mean to say
Those who dream
Of seeing even a slightest
Hint of a stream

For it is they
Who would look to me
And would say

"It is a feat
To survive such heat,
But the weather here
Will never come near."
I know not heat
