Blood red petals disguised by
blackness thick as fog.

Forest green stem hidden
in a vase of dark brown.

wilting from the lack of
strength to go on.

abandon to die no
longer able to light up a room.

lifting it's head the roses
struggle to get some light.

But sinks back down and accepts
it's fate of becoming Roses in the dark.
