You're a world away from me,
my friend over there,
you're too far to hear me shout,
when I yell to the air.

You're a world away from me,
when you need me the most,
and when you tell me this truth,
I pale like a ghost.

You're a world away from me,
and I can't help but sigh,
because now I feel useless,
I could just sit here and...
cry.

But I won't.

Because A world away,
is nothing to me,
it won't stop this friend,
from helping another you see?

I'll do what I have to,
to get to where you are,
I'll fly, I'll drive,
I'll move the mountains and walk on water,
I'll go the distance, no matter how far!

Because my friend
you're worth every second,
you who are oh so,
very, very distant!

Never fear, never fear,
Don't give up hope my dear!
Because You're worth that much and more,
so much more to me.

So a world away,
or even two.
This ol' boy's gonna do,
what a boy's gotta do,
just
to get
to you.

Even if you're a world away.
I wait for your call,
just a word, or my name, is all you need to say.

And I'll be there,
No longer a world away.

Just me,
right here,
To stay.

With You.
Just have a room for me to stay!
